Not using my time too Wisely

First off we have:
Breakfast made Easy :)
I tried out a new recipe that was Super Easy and thought I'd share it. Travis has already had me to make it twice this week.

BREAKFAST BARS

2 pkgs. Pillsbury crescent rolls
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk (save the white)
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese

Pat out 1 package of rolls into ungreased cake pan. Mix softened cream cheese, egg yolk, 1 cup sugar and vanilla; beat well. Spread over dough. Unroll second package of rolls and lay over cream cheese to form a crust. Beat egg whites until foaming and brush over top. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Fruit really compliments these tasty little treats :)

One of my goals for this year is to try new recipes. Atleast three per week. So far everything I have chose to try out has been successful. I've also got us in the habit of eating at the table instead of in the living room. I'm loving it. This evening after I cleared the dinner table, Travis took Carter on into the living room and when I turned around there was a $2 tip sitting on my dining room table and a $1 tip sitting on Carter's high chair tray....my husband cracks me up.

I'm really looking forward to the new year. I have high expectations for myself as far as what all I would like to get accomplished. I'm wanting to get back down to my pre-pregnancy size but we will just have to wait and see about that. With the nice little kangaroo pouch I received after that lovely Cesarean, I'm thinking a Bikini is defintely a thing of the past. i never liked being that exposed anyway. I miss going to the gym really bad. Now when I get time to exercise, around 11pm, I'm usually feeling too run down to get passed a 10 minutes of a workout. If I could just lose weight in my face, I'd be ecstatic. My head just seems so Round, like a cabbage patch kid...hey, that must be where Carter gets it :)

Aside from all the new recipes, I'm also cleaning out my house.(It's been an ongoing project since Carter arrived) I cannot stand clutter. I want everything to have a "home" and be able to know exactly where everything is. It's amazing what all you accumulate over the years. I have gave a lot of stuff away but there's alot more to go. I was so excited when we bought our house because of all the closets. I remember when I was searching for stuff to put in all of them, now I'm doing the exact opposite.

I am super excited that Travis is finally finishing his bonus room off the garage. Eventually I'll have a workout room out there as well as his "Man Room" LOL. i think i'm more excited about him having a place for his stuff than he is. Carter's bedroom was Travis's "Area" before, so all the stuff in there such as his trophies,'toys', and "man room" furniture has been sitting in one of the closets just waiting. I'm also going to send some stuff from the spare bedroom out there so yay, more open space for me and a nicely furnished bonus room for him.

So there's my random thoughts for the night. It's 11:15 and I now have to go take a shower since Carter is passed the "waking back up" period of the evening. Hope everyone is enjoying there week so far. Love you people! :)
