We need an abundant supply of Apples...

to keep the doctor away apparently....
I took Carter to the dermatologist Tuesday Morning because he had 2 more spots pop up. They were red and swollen but it didn't seem to phase him. Thankfully. I worked half a day on Wednesday and then we went back to the dermatologist and then over to Carter's wellness visit with Dr. Eastham in Murfreesboro, who by the way says that I'm right, my kid is a genius....haha...kidding....he did say he is very clever and knows a lot of words for his age. Travis says with me as his mom he never stood a chance anyway. Can you believe that? Like I am a talker! This is me we are talking about! I'm not a talker....okay, okay, I won't sit here and lie, especially when I can't get away with it anyway. I know for a fact Kellie will call me on this one............ (and I know you just did that half appauling sigh/half giggle thing right then Kellie):P
Anyway, So Then today I took Carter back to the dermatologist. He has 1 more visit with the dermatologist next week and 1 more visit with Dr. Eastham. These $20.00 co-pays are adding up.
First they had said bug bite, then spider bite, then poison ivy, then impetigo, then they thought bad reaction to mosquito bites and now they haven't got a clue what it is but they do know that Amoxicillin is defeating it quickly. It never got to a stage that is favorable for a biopsy so we may never know what is causing this. I'm just glad that he is on an antibiotic that seems to be working. The pediatrician and Travis are adamant about finding out exactly what it is but while I am curious, my focus is more on the fact that the spots are healing really fast and skipped the whole icky nasty looking stage. If it never comes back and we never find out what caused it, then so be it. I just want "IT" out of my baby's system for good!

My girls have been seeing Dr Eastham since birth. Don;t u just love him. He is always so patient and kind. Even to my big kid (my husband) who is a worry wart when it comes to our kids. Glad the meds are working for Carter!!!

My oldest broke out like that too and the drs said he was allergic to the "Rabbit Grass" or so thats what Clilnt called it. It is the clovers with the purple flowers in it that the rabbits around here eat (lol). He was covered and antibiotics helped. He can just get close to it and he just breaks out all over. So we do not like "Rabbit Grass" at our house. I am glad that Carter is feeling better. Little boys can get into anything and I love it. They are a suprise just waiting to happen. Have a great week....
