HIS LOVE IS CONSTANT

'Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, it empties today of its strength.'

I found where I had written the following back in 2004 and I had actually written it again almost word for word on my myspace blog in 2006. I love that it is 2008 and the words are still right on. God's love is constant, He never changes. Centuries pass and You can always count on him to be the same. You just have to keep your faith in him and continuously trust him no matter what. I remember back in high school when I was really upset, I told my dad that I just didn't feel like God had his hand in anything I was trying to do and he said, "Tara, God isn't the one that changed. He's the same as he's always been, and he will never change, if you don't feel close to him, then you are the one that moved, the one that changed. There's no other option" ...SO TRUE. I've tried explaining that to a friend. You have to Draw near to God in order to feel him draw near to you. You have to put forth EFFORT. I know i've said that sentence 50 times in the past 6 months. Some people just want everything to fall in their lap, they want God to go that extra mile, hate their life but does nothing to change it....Anyway, i wanted to post The reminder i had written myself 4 years ago just because, so here it is.....

Don't worry about anything. Worrying only causes you to lose perspective. "Worrying, like a rocking chair, will give you something to do, but it won't get you anywhere." Trust God and his plan for you. Don't waste time trying to figure it all out on your own. If you want a situation to have the best outcome then take it to God. Talk to him, share your burdens with him, and let him direct your paths. Once you do that, everything will come together how it should and the best part of all is, you will end up happy and satisfied. It's a guarantee. that's how God works. All you need to do, is work with him.

Give him your burdens, give him your time, and he will give you everything that you need.
