If you are going to try to impress anyone....

Picture it...It is winter time and outside it is bitter-cold. The house is warm and cozy but there's this draft of cold air coming in from somewhere. You finally see that just in the corner of the front door, there is a little gap and you can feel the chilling air coming through. In order to keep the bitter cold air out, what do you need to do? Ahh, yes, you must fill the gap. It's the same circumstance with our Lord and Savior. We must work coninuously to fill the gaps so that the bitterness from Satan can not get ahold of us. When you feel a distance between yourself and God, there is only one guess on which one of you moved. The good book says, God's Love is constant, From the beginning of time, he has not changed, he will not change. We must strive to stay close, always walk in his path, and never rely on only ourselves for anything Because we will ultimately fail on our own- every time. Don't be your own stumbling block. Rid yourself of Pride. Don't try to live a life that "Man" would be proud of but instead live a life that Our Lord can be proud of. If you are going to try to impress anyone, let it be Jesus.
